DESCRIPTION:Song Ceremony with Michael Stanton in Bristol at St Anne’s Church Hall on Saturday 19th October\, 7pm till 10pm \nThis is an invitation to sit in circle and offer songs and prayers to the spirit and our beautiful living earth\, at this time of Autumn. Guided by my own songs and songs I have gathered from being in ceremonies over the years\, we will be together in low light held in the sacred embrace of community\, to uplift a prayer of love and gratitude in the power and beauty of music and sacred song. \nMany of the songs will be in Portuguese and Spanish\, but some also in English and some without words so we can just open our voices and be in the magic of sound. Your voices are very welcome but there is no pressure to sing. You can come and simply receive the songs and prayers in silence. My song ceremonies are usually quite introspective; an opportunity to relax into a kind of timeless elemental space and shed the pressures of the day to day. In this way we can feel supported by the ceremony\, and also have our voices welcomed and heard. \nI look forward very much to being with you all again in the familiar space of St Anne’s Church Hall and nurture our hearts in this way. I only have 3 spaces left\, I’m gonna cap it at 10 so it’s a well contained space.
